The Good News!

The gospel means good news. That good news is the true story of the perfect life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ for the forgiveness of sins for anyone and everyone who will trust in Jesus alone. What’s more, the gospel is God’s grand plan of redemption revealed in the Bible from the beginning of Genesis through the end of Revelation. By God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, the judgment upon us is carried away by Jesus, our sins are forgiven, we are given new life through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, and we have an inheritance of spending eternity with the triune God in heaven in never-ending joy. That is good news! That is the gospel.
