Adult Ministry

The primary gathering of God’s people at Calvary is the Sunday morning worship service. But that doesn’t mean Sunday morning is all the fellowship and discipleship we need to grow as followers of Christ. The ministries listed below are for the purpose of growing our relationships with one another as we conduct our lives in a way that honors the Lord. Join with us.
Fellowship Events

  • Who doesn’t love great food? Throughout the year, we enjoy a variety of special times together such as church dinners, dessert fellowships, and even brunch when a month has five Sundays.

  • Periodically through the year, our folks participate in “Dinner for Six” which provides an opportunity to get to know people better and develop deeper relationships.

  • We occasionally host a church movie night, go on outings together (like bowling or even axe throwing), or simply go out to coffee together. The families at Calvary enjoy spending time with one another.

Women's Ministry

  • Led by Alyssa Brown and Crista Berry, our women’s ministry exists to encourage women in their walk with the Lord. Here are a couple of our women’s ministries.

  • Moms on a Mission – Dedicated to the Titus 2 model of women discipling women, this ministry meets monthly for fellowship, delicious food, and crafts, but primarily focuses on the clear teaching and study of the Bible.

  • Annual Ladies Events – These events include Mother’s Day Tea, Fall Craft Fellowship, and the Ladies’ Christmas Party. All of these events are designed to be fun, friendly, and refreshing for the ladies who attend.

Men's Ministry

  • Men’s ministry at Calvary is called D3 which stands for doctrine, devotion, and discipleship. This ministry exists to encourage and equip men to fulfill God’s calling on them in every area of their lives through the grace of God. We meet one Saturday morning a month for breakfast, robust doctrinal Bible study, small group discussion, and prayer. While we love the fellowship together, our conversation is centered on how the Word of God may be applied to our lives. We challenge, edify, and encourage. We are a group of men dedicated to the Lord, each other, and some great food.

  • Additionally, our men enjoy favorite hobbies together, working on service projects, and special events throughout the year.
