Children’s Ministries
Our children’s ministry exists to assist parents in leading their children to follow Jesus.
We take seriously the responsibility to provide a safe and loving environment in which children can learn the Bible and take steps forward in their relationship with Jesus. Each lesson and activity strives to help children know Jesus, understand His Word, take the next step in their relationship with Christ, and equip them to share Jesus’ love with others.
Our children’s ministries include:

Sunday School – Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for all ages, K5 through 6th grade. The children begin the morning with a combined singing time and then are dismissed to their age-divided classes. These classes include a Bible lesson, crafts, and Scripture memorization. Our church uses Answers in Genesis curriculum for these classes.

Junior Church – Sunday mornings during the preaching time of the main service, for children K5 through 3rd grade. This is an age-appropriate teaching time that includes a snack, Bible lesson, and games. Our church uses Truth 78 (formerly Children’s Desiring God) curriculum for Junior Church.

Awana Ministry – Running through the school year, this children’s ministry meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:45 pm for children Pre-K through 5th grade. While enjoying games, crafts, and Bible teaching, this ministry focuses on Scripture memory.

Vacation Bible School – This week-long children’s ministry occurs every June for children going into kindergarten through 6th grade. At VBS children learn Bible songs, memorize Bible verses, play games, enjoy snacks, and hear careful Bible teaching just for them. This ministry is led by our church family and is an annual favorite within our community.
